WHATThe client had an excellent product and service - promoting health care to seniors through a medical monitoring alert device. The product is a technological lifeline device targeted to seniors with health concerns that require monitoring. The service includes trained professional monitoring who decide who to notify (such as emergency services or family members) in the event of a Care Link alert. WHYTheir challenge was they did not have a name or print piece. Through XtraMark’s brainstorming and collaborative creative process the name “Care Link – Medical Alert Services” was selected. A marketing brochure was designed with an appealing logo, typeface and southwestern color scheme. The print piece focused on the features and benefits of the medical alert one-button bracelets and pendants – not just what was being sold, but why. HOWThe brochure targeted three main prospects: active seniors who want to maintain a sense of activity freedom, family members concerned for their loved ones in need of health monitoring, and the medical community who desire to provide a means to confidently monitor their outgoing patients. The brochure was designed as a self-mailer and was an effective piece at trade shows or as a pass along. Warm and caring photos (using stock photography to meet a tight timeline and budget) gave a professional appeal and communicated the value of the service in a non-frightening manner. A call to action form invited a product demonstration, the ideal way to show the service’s value. |
